bidrush

Rules

The whole game is one number. Here is everything that number touches.

Ranking

  • Rank is decided by the total you have paid on a listing. Biggest total sits at #1.
  • Equal totals keep their order. Whoever reached that number first stays above.
  • Nothing expires. A spot stays yours until somebody wants it more than you do.
  • There is no editorial layer. No votes, no ranking model, no promoted slots.

Money

  • The minimum bid is $1, and bids move in whole dollars.
  • Taking #1 costs $1 more than the current top total.
  • If your listing is already on the board, you pay only the difference between your current total and your new one. You never pay for the same ground twice.
  • You can bid any amount. Less than the top price is not a rejected bid, it is simply a lower rank.
  • A bid takes effect when the payment clears. Opening checkout claims nothing.
  • Payments run through Stripe. bidrush never sees or stores your card details.

What you can list

  • A product website, or an X @handle.
  • No chat or invite links. Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Messenger, Signal and the like are all out.
  • No sexual content.
  • One domain, one slot. Bids pointing at the same domain stack onto the same listing rather than creating a second row.
  • Platforms that host many unrelated products, such as the App Store, Google Play, GitHub, npm and Product Hunt, are tracked by path instead, so two apps on one platform get their own slots.

What happens to your link

  • Query strings are stripped. We keep the clean address, not your campaign parameters.
  • Short links are expanded to wherever they actually point, and the destination is what gets listed.
  • Clicks go straight to your URL. Nothing is appended, no tracking parameters, no interstitial page.
  • Your title, blurb and icon are read from your own page. Update them on your side, and they refresh the next time a bid lands.

Removal

  • Listings that break these rules come off the board and are not refunded.
  • Bids are final. The money buys a rank, and the rank is what you get.
  • Something wrong with a listing? Get in touch.
